EPOXY PIPE COATING

Epoxy pipe coating is an alternative to traditional pipe replacement, which is more economical and efficient when access to pipework is difficult.

The system is used for the remediation of plumbing and mechanical systems from domestic potable systems to industrial fire suppression systems and many more.

The epoxy pipe coating system is a non-invasive process which uses air to move the epoxy through the pipe, completely coating the walls as it passes through.

Therefore, saving the destruction of the building walls, floors and ceilings  also hardscape and landscape if outside.

When time is restricted, there is no better solution than epoxy pipe coating. A typical re-pipe   may take several weeks including building works such as boarding, plastering and tiling. This work could be completed within a few days using epoxy pipe coating, further reducing hidden costs such as company shut down or tenants having to move out, resulting in costs for alternative accommodation while works are carried out.

As the application is carried out using air, this means we can coat pipes as small as 15mm and negotiate multiple bends and tees, further reducing the need to break into the building at these points.

The epoxy coating creates a barrier between the walls of the host pipe and the contents eliminating internal corrosion and helping the prevention of the growth of legionella and other micro-organisms. It also prevents leaching from lead pipes or contaminated soil.

At Pipe Lining Services, we have access to numerous different materials to repair pipes made of copper, iron, steel and even plastics.
